The Annexe

The Accomodation

The Annexe is one open-plan living space with a small en-suite, containing a toilet, shower and washbasin. We supply the bed linen and towels.

The bed is a luxurious super-king-size bed, so comfy you should fall asleep quickly and wake up refreshed.

The Annexe also contains a sofa bed for two with all the bedding for this you need. We also supply an additional mattress topping for extra comfort.

Usually the sofa bed is used as a sofa, facing into the lounge part of the room. There you'll also find a large television and FreeSat box, which gives you access to dozens of television channels and radio stations together with catch-up facilities like BBC iPlayer and the ITV Hub.

We've been busy while the pandemic has kept us closed, and have installed new central heating and a combi-boiler for unrestricted hot water. We've also replaced some of the glazing as well as extending the kitchen area and facilities.

The Facilities

The kitchen area now includes a fridge-freezer, a halogen oven, a microwave oven, a hotplate, a kettle and a George Foreman grill - as well as everything you will need to cater for 4 people and lots of storage and workspace.

We can supply milk, bread, butter, jams, cereal, water and orange juice for your breakfasts, as well as tea bags, coffee and hot chocolate.

Free wifi is available throughout the Annexe. As well as off-street parking for two small cars or one very large car (or van), there is lots of on-street parking available nearby. You also have exclusive use of a small terrace area (which is screened off for even more privacy) containing a table and two chairs for those al fresco moments.

Keys are stored in an external keybox, and we will give you the current code near the time of your arrival.

Finally, the Annexe has its own heating and hot water systems, which you can adjust for your own comfort.

The owners, Joanna and Helen, live in the adjoining house so are almost always available if there are any problems or questions. The Annexe is not really suitable for young children, although people with babies have stayed and loved it. If you want to bring a pet, please check beforehand.

We ask that you respect our neighbours - we live in a quiet residential area. Also please leave the Annexe clean when you leave, including washing up any kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery you have used.

Check in is from 3pm, and we ask that you check out by 10am.
